Bruno was a hero bloodhound who dedicated his life to saving others. He successfully tracked down 9 people, including missing children and individuals with Alzheimer's, bringing them safely home to their families.
On that tragic day in Taranto, Italy, someone threw sausages filled with nails into Bruno's kennel. Our hero died from internal bleeding - a painful, undeserved end for a dog who gave everything to help humanity.
Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called it a "vile, cowardly" act. Bruno's trainer said: "You fought your whole life to help human beings, and the same human did this to you."
